Tip! Check at colleges and universities who are studying photography and hire a student to do it. You can get professional looking photos for a fraction of the price.

Why Pinhole Photography?

It’s fun. It’s creative. It’s educative about the basics that photographers deal with whenever they do their thing.

What is Pinhole Photography?

At its simplest, a pinhole camera is just a light tight cardboard box with a piece of aluminium pie dish containing a pinhole to expose the film or photographic paper.

Photography Workshops and Master (Infant photography) Classes

Tip! Your pictures will be reviewed by humans, and accepted or rejected into the micro stock photography site. If they’re accepted, they’ll be available for clients to ‘buy’.

Several years ago, I met a fellow photographer – albeit, he was an amateur, a very good one (the difference is not the quality of the work . the difference is that one does it for love, the other does it for money). He is now a new friend and fellow photographer named Marco, an Italian. His day job is as a top children’s heart surgeon. His passion for photographing people takes him all over the world, seeking out that special face, interesting enough to be captured on film/file.

Infrared Photography and (Sepia photography) the Car Thief – Successful Digital Imaging

Tip! Myth: I got a digital camera that takes great photos now I can start a career as a wedding photographer. Reality: Wedding photography requires that you have artistic talent and that you learn photography including composition, lighting, etc.

Infrared photography is sometimes placed on the outside edge of the mainstream photographic world. To the uninitiated observer infrared photography conjures up television images of car thieves speeding away from police helicopters during the dark hours of the night, only to be caught hiding beneath bushes beside a darkened home as their hot bodies light up the camera monitor in the police chopper like Bedouin camel herders atop a Sahara sand dune.

Make Up Tips for Photography (Random photography)

Tip! Landscape images often lack a multitude of colours, using black and white film when shooting daytime photos will add impact to your photography.

Photography make up is slightly different from daily make up applications. Here are some pointers -

Lighting:

  • Use natural lighting – for example, near a big window with lights coming in

  • If photography is taking place outdoors, do so around 4pm to 5pm, when the sun is about to set. Soft lighting makes a person better

Preparing the face:

  • Wash, exfoliate, tone and moisturize your face before applying make up

Photography of the human body – Photography: Underwater Tips

Tip! To ensure your success. Writing a business plan enables you to consider all aspects of your photography business.

You can get some great images using your camera underwater. Think about the following to ensure you don’t miss that important shot:

Get an underwater housing – most cameras can be fitted with a specialised, waterproof underwater housing. These are available from specialised retailers or from online auction sites.

Think about an underwater camera – this is specifically designed to be moisture-proof and sustain the rigors of immersion in water

Having the sun overhead (that is around either side of midday) gives the best results underwater

Photography? I’m too (Newborn baby photography) lazy …

Tip! In some situations, black and white photography has the tendency to make photos look more like works of art – fine art images will sell better in galleries.

It’s Christmas. There’s a great many photo-opportunities but, to be frank, I have missed them all. I have convinced myself that I am too busy. Well, there’s the presents to buy and the parties to attend. And, where I live, EVERYBODY is shopping – that means queues, waiting, frustration and heartache. Add these problems to the usual ones of not knowing who to buy presents for and what to get them then I can justifiably consider myself worthy of a hard-earned rest. That means sitting with a glass of wine rather than taking photos.

Photography A – Z the Easy Way: C – Composition (Seattle wedding photography)

Tip! Expect and hope for better chances. Since Lady Luck doesn’t smile at everybody, you should learn to prevent unavoidable circumstances by asking those who tried underwater photography before and learn from their experiences.

Almost nothing is more important than composition. No amount of manipulation of your image will help a badly composed picture.

But what is “composition”.

Don’t worry about the fancy terms, but basically, composition is the art of getting the final image looking right, starting from the moment you take the picture.

There are several elements:
